Made-To-Order Cakes

My Los Angeles bakery is a small operation, but I bake weekly for all sorts of events, including weddings. The menu below provides you with an example of what I do, but all the cakes I make are very custom and the decorations will vary. The flavors listed are my core flavors but I offer seasonal cakes too.

August 2024 special flavors are:

- Almond Butter Raspberry 

- Olive Oil  

Please ask if you have questions about dietary restrictions. Note, we don't cater for people with severe allergies. 

Typically, my minimum order charge is $200 for a 4 layer cake, but again, this is all flexible and every cake is unique.

Allergy Warning

Please note, we work in a very busy and small kitchen so while we take the utmost care with each and every cake we make, there is always a chance of cross contamination with allergens.

We use ingredients which contain traces of dairy, eggs and gluten.

Gluten: While we do make gluten free cakes, these are not suitable for coeliac customers due to the chance of cross-contamination. If you choose for your cake to be gluten free, you will be ordering at your own risk.

Although our gluten free cakes are equally as delicious as our usual cakes, the special gluten free flour we use starts to absorb moisture from the cake a lot quicker than wheat flour. We recommend eating your gluten free cake on the day of collection.

Nuts: We care unable to cater for any nut allergies. All of our cakes contain ground almonds and we frequently use other nuts in our kitchen including pistachios, peanuts, hazelnuts, and pecans.

Eggs: Our vegan cakes do not contain eggs.

Dairy: Our vegan cakes are completely dairy-free except for those which contain Callebaut dark chocolate as this is made on the same line as milk-containing chocolates, therefore it may contain dairy and is not suitable for those dairy allergies.

Other: Please let us know if you have an allergy we need to be aware of and we'll be in touch with you to confirm this. Please note - we can rarely make allowances for serious allergies.

  • Large cake: 9", 4 layers, 24 servings (from $130)
  • 25 babycakes: Smaller, 1-2 bites in size (from $75)
  • 9 minicakes: Larger, generous single serve cupcakes (from $75)
  • Two tier - 50 dessert slices (from $300)
  • Two tier - 50 dessert slices (from $450)
  • Two tier - 60 dessert slices (from $540)
  • Two tier - 70 dessert slices(from $630)
  • Two tier - 80 dessert slices (from$720)
  • Two tier - 90 dessert slices (from $810)
  • Two tier - 100 dessert slices $900 (from $930)
  • Three tier - 60 dessert slices (from $570)
  • Three tier - 70 dessert slices (from $660)
  • Three tier - 80 dessert slices (from $750)
  • Three tier - 90 dessert slices (from $840)
  • Three tier - 100 dessert slices $930 (from $960)

DECORATIONS

You can add fresh flowers ($15) and candles ($5) to your cake.

We buy different flowers daily, so our floral decorations won't look the same every time - if you do have any special requests, feel free to ask in the order notes when you proceed to the cart and we will do our best!

If you would like a message on your cake, please add custom letter toppers. A personalised gift card can also be included with any order - just add to your cart along with your cake.

PICK UP

You are able to pick up your order from The Caker, 1162 Glendale Boulevard, Los Angeles 90026 but you must pre-arrange a time to meet someone there.

It's important you are on time for pick-ups as we organise our days around the time selected, please send us an email or give us a call if you might be late.

DELIVERY

We can deliver your order in Los Angeles using a courier, please email hello@thecakerusa.com to ask how much it will cost to your address.
